Job Description

The position is responsible for leading the organisation's end-to-end accounting and financial control operations, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing finance, inventory control, costing accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures that all financial transactions are properly recorded, reported, and compliant with applicable accounting standards and local regulations, while providing strategic financial partnership to factory operations. This leader typically brings extensive experience from senior accounting, audit, or manufacturing finance roles and plays a key role in shaping and executing the company's accounting and financial governance strategy. Acting as a trusted business partner to the Plant Manager and cross-functional leaders, this role aligns financial oversight with operational performance, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth.-to-end accounting and financial control operations of the organisation, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing finance, inventory control, costing accuracy, and regulatory compliance. REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

University/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

10+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant, Plant Controller, or Senior Finance leader, preferably within foreign-invested or manufacturing companies.-invested or manufacturing companies.

Proven experience managing relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.

Experience in manufacturing finance, including inventory control, costing methodologies, and operational finance.

Experience working cross-functionally with Purchasing, Logistics and Production teams.

Bi-lingual (English & Vietnamese), Professional Working Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (written and verbal)

Strong knowledge of Vietnamese financial and tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax and Transfer Pricing fundamentals.

Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, including inventory control, costing methodologies, and operational finance.

Familiarity with SAP (FICO and MM models) and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, presentation, and reporting skills. -solving, negotiation, presentation, and reporting skills.

Knowledge of investment law is an advantage, Experience with Decree 152 (Foreign Labour) or Investment Registration Certificate (IRC) compliance.

Ability to develop, engage, and maximise performance and potential within others/team.

Strong organisational and planning skills.

Experienced in reporting and Excel skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Adaptable to change in the work environment, is a Change Agent

Willingness to develop, is self-aware and open to feedback

TRAVEL

Occasional travel less than 10%
