Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Work with Cluster Operations Control team (central FP&A functions) to provide the entity with monthly financial performance analysis along with various variance analysis, driving business to improve financial performance and meet the objectives.
- Be accountable for the output of Cluster Operations Control team related to the annual budgets, re-forecasting, as well as mid-term business plan
- Work with Cluster Operations Control to achieve sound investment management process (review CAPEX application documents, validate the financial simulations, review and challenge the business assumptions) as well as asset management process (ensure proper asset to book reconciliation, asset recording cycle, write off / impairment needs)
Financing, Cash Management & Hedging
- Be accountable for the Company's financing strategy (such as dividends and long-term financing strategy) with the support from central treasury functions (center of excellence (CoE) and shared services)
- Be accountable for project financing (planning, support on the execution locally)
- Be responsible for continuous improvement of the Company's cash position, with particular focus on working capital
- Be responsible for credit risk management of the Company (approving credit limit, ensuring compliance with the Group guidelines, propose necessary actions against overdues and disputes etc.)
- Review and monitor the Company's various financial exposures (notably fx and energy) and decide on the risk mitigation actions such as hedging with collaboration with Treasury CoE and Group finance
Internal Control
- Coordinate with Group / Cluster internal controllers to execute all the regular internal control requirements defined by the Group.
- Follow up on the key mitigation actions identified through internal control process as well as internal audit. Lead the finance related corrective actions.
- To work with the board and management members to enhance the internal control environment and regulatory compliance of the Company
Insurance
- Act as a bridge between local business team and Group / Cluster insurance coordinator, insurance agent as well as insurance company to manage the insurance coverage updates, insurance claim and other insurance related processes
Accounting Management
- Ensure that the Entity's accounting processes are in compliance with all the applicable internal / external rules, and are followed by all the stakeholders
- Be accountable for the accuracy of the account and quality of the data through close collaboration with finance shared services and directly managing local accounting function
- Validate the proper creation of the financial statements as per Vietnamese GAAP and IFRS
- Validate various reportings as per country management and regional/head office requirements, with close collaboration with finance shared services as well as Cluster Operations Control team
- Manage the relationship with statutory auditors
Taxation
- Be accountable for tax compliance of the Entity, reviewing all the tax governance and procedure of the entities as well as tax filing and payment
- Be accountable for the tax exposure management, including impact analysis of new tax regulations applicable to the entity
- Advice on the tax implications for new projects and investments
- Manage the tax audit and tax litigation processes (if applicable) with the coordination with external advisers
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree, preferably in Finance / Management Control; CPA qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of finance experience, including a strong background in audit firms or tax advisory.
- Proven experience interacting with statutory auditors, tax offices, or external tax advisors.
- Experience in FP&A, business partnering, Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Internal Audit/Controls is considered an advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking and team/project management capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across functions.
