Job Description

Job Position: Finance Executive (Senior Level)

Reports to: Finance Manager

1. Job Description

1.1 Financial

Pricing & Costing

  • Review and propose pricing for services, packages, and surgeries based on market benchmarks and costing; prepare reports for BOD.
  • Maintain and update service costing as a basis for pricing decisions.
  • Manage pricing of medicines, implants, and consumables.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of pricing and promotion policies; propose adjustments.

Budget Planning & Cost Control

  • Support annual budget preparation (templates, data, guidance); coordinate departments on short- and long-term budgets; consolidate and review budgets aligned with hospital objectives.
  • Set up and maintain the Chart of Accounts (COA); implement cost control and review expense requests; perform Actual vs Budget variance analysis and propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies (FS) for projects and CAPEX as assigned.

1.2 Internal Process / Policy / Reporting

HIS Item Master

  • Maintain service items, pricing, promotions, and packages on the HIS.
  • Ensure data accuracy and work with IT to optimize system usage.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare doctors remuneration and commission reports.
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial and cost analysis reports.

1.3 Customer Service

  • Work with departments to resolve finance-related issues promptly.
  • Provide financial information to stakeholders as required.

2. Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.

Experience

  • 4–5 years experience in finance/accounting (healthcare finance preferred).

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems/HIS is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, budgeting, cost control, and reporting.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset; detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional, ethical, and confidentiality-minded.
