The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Finance Executive to support AhaSlides finance operations across entities and to help leadership make clear, reliable financial decisions.
This role blends day-to-day accounting discipline, compliance support, and growing exposure to strategic finance. You'll keep business-as-usual running smoothly while developing your skills in cost optimisation, cash management, and financial analysis. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in getting the numbers right — and is curious about how those numbers shape business decisions.
What you will do
Accounting operations & financial hygiene
- Handle payroll inputs, claims processing, and support monthly close.
- Perform reconciliations (Stripe ↔ database, bank, affiliates) with accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation.
- Follow access control protocols and uphold financial data security.
Compliance & reporting (multi-entity)
- Support tax compliance across Vietnam, Singapore, and the Netherlands.
- Prepare and assist in reviewing VAS financial reports; exposure to IFRS a plus.
- Track and support statutory deadlines (tax filings, AGM, annual returns).
- Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
Budgeting & spend visibility
- Track actual vs. budget across payroll, marketing, and operations.
- Flag variances and surface early financial signals to the Finance Manager or leadership.
- Help business teams understand their spend and key financial trade-offs.
Cost & process improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce transaction fees and financial friction points.
- Support cash flow monitoring and basic forex planning.
- Propose process improvements that improve efficiency and financial hygiene.
Finance support & analysis
- Assist in preparing financial analysis and reports for internal leadership.
- Support investor or diligence materials as needed (exposure, not ownership).
- Contribute to building scalable finance processes as the company grows.
Requirements
Must-have
- 3–6 years in accounting / finance
- Solid understanding of financial reporting & compliance
- Hands-on, detail-oriented working style
- Comfortable collaborating with non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive and organised self-starter
Nice-to-have
- SaaS or tech company background
- Multi-entity or international exposure
- Familiarity with IFRS reporting
- Experience with Stripe or subscription revenue
- Basic forex or treasury exposure
