Scope: Nationwide Financial Operations (North, Central, South Vietnam)
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially focused, and hands-on Finance Director / Finance Manager to lead the financial operations and strategic financial planning of our business in Vietnam.
This role is responsible for overseeing financial management, budgeting, cash flow, compliance, reporting, taxation, internal controls, and commercial finance support for the company's nationwide operations in automotive aftermarket products, including window tinting films, Paint Protection Film (PPF), ceramic coatings, and future premium distribution brands.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial leadership capabilities, experience in distribution or automotive-related industries, and the ability to support rapid business expansion while maintaining financial discipline and operational efficiency..
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Currently working in either:
- Automotive aftermarket companies
- Distribution businesses
- Trading companies
- FMCG or technical B2B distribution environments
Strong experience with:
- Financial planning & analysis
- Cash flow and working capital management
- Inventory, credit and receivables management
- Multi-branch or nationwide financial operations
Experience supporting:
- Dealer and distributor networks
- High-growth businesses
- International suppliers and foreign principals
Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and business performance reporting
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build scalable financial structures and controls
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Provide financial guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making
- Support business expansion planning, investment analysis, and profitability optimization
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Establish financial KPIs and performance monitoring systems
Financial Management & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of:
- Monthly management reports
- Financial statements
- Cash flow reports
- Budget variance analysis
- Profitability reports
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and relevant financial regulations
- Coordinate external audits and tax reporting requirements
Cash Flow, Credit & Working Capital Management
- Manage company cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity planning
- Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory financing
- Establish credit control policies and dealer payment frameworks
- Optimize working capital efficiency across nationwide operations
- Ensure strong financial discipline in collections and expense management
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and governance procedures
- Ensure compliance with:
- Tax regulations
- Corporate governance standards
- Company policies and procedures
- Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure transparency and accountability across all financial operations
Business Partnership & Commercial Finance
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to support commercial objectives
- Analyze:
- Dealer profitability
- Product margins
- Pricing structures
- Sales incentive programs
- Support management with financial modeling and business case analysis
- Evaluate investment opportunities, expansion projects, and strategic partnerships
Inventory & Supply Chain Financial Oversight
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock management efficiency
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams on:
- Inventory planning
- Import cost analysis
- Supplier payment scheduling
- Ensure accurate costing and margin analysis across product categories
Team Leadership & Organization Development
- Lead and manage finance and accounting teams
- Develop financial reporting structures and operational workflows
- Build a performance-driven finance culture with strong accountability
- Coach and develop finance talent within the organization
- Implement systems and process improvements to support business scalability
REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Background
8–15+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or commercial finance leadership roles
Strong experience in:
- Distribution companies
- Automotive aftermarket industry
- Trading/import businesses
- Technical B2B environments
Experience managing nationwide or multi-location financial operations
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax and accounting regulations
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Education Qualifications
MBA in Finance or related discipline (advantageous)
Professional certifications are highly preferred:
- ACCA
- CPA
- CMA
- CFA (advantageous)
Strong understanding of:
- Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS)
- Taxation and corporate compliance in Vietnam
- Financial planning and analysis
- Corporate finance and cash flow management
