Job Description

I. Job Purpose:

This role involves constructing and refining accurate forecasts based on historical data, generating comprehensive reports for financial recommendations to the line manager. The incumbent is tasked with developing financial analysis templates, contributing to the design and execution of financial reviews, and collaborating with various departments to optimize profitability. Additionally, the position involves supporting line managers in project analysis and implementation.

II. Job Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the timely and precise preparation of management reports.
  • Conduct thorough analyses with clear commentaries on any financial fluctuations.
  • Create financial models for decision support based on in-depth analysis of financial data.
  • Assist the manager in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Enhance productivity by collaborating with other functions and departments to implement automated reporting tools.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure accurate data for reporting and decision support.
  • Identify discrepancies and root causes, presenting findings to management and relevant departments.
  • Propose recommendations for finance re-engineering or updating processes as assigned by the line manager.
  • Support the control process for approving and evaluating projects, business proposals, and operating activity plans proposed by departments.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

III. Job Requirements:

  • Holds a degree or higher in Accounting/Finance (Professional qualification or membership is a plus).
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Accounting/Auditing/Finance field.
  • Demonstrates a keen sense of control, business acumen, and strong analytical skills.
  • Capable of working independently with a high level of responsibility and commitment.
  • Able to work extended and irregular hours under high pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and a positive working attitude.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint (Proficiency in BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is a must).
