We are seeking a skilled Finance Analyst for a 6-month contract in the FMCG industry. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to support financial planning and analysis.

Description
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyse financial data, prepare management reports, and
- provide insights for decision support. Report on financial performance and prepare for
- regular leadership reviews.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations
- for improvements.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with commercial, operational, and accounting teams to
- understand business drivers, support decision-making, and deliver financial insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of
- standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards. Support automation and digitalisation
- initiatives.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support audit requirements and statutory reporting as needed.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to support business initiatives and projects.
Profile
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business, or economics preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years experience in a finance analyst or accounting role, preferably in a multinational or
- FMCG environments.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of financial principles, management reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Familiarity with compliance and
- internal controls.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE) and advanced Excel skills. Strong
- analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work
- collaboratively with finance, commercial, and operational teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management
