Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial summaries, expense reports, and supporting schedules in alignment with group reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external accounting and tax partners to ensure regulatory compliance under Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS).
- Assist in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and forecast updates for the branch office.
- Reconcile payroll, vendor payments, and intercompany charges to maintain accuracy and transparency.
- Support audit preparation and maintain organized documentation for internal and statutory purposes.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Work with service providers and authorities to ensure timely filings for tax, social insurance, and labor-related reports.
- Keep track of corporate documentation, renewals, and branch filings to ensure full compliance with Vietnamese laws.
- Serve as the local contact for statutory and administrative coordination with the headquarters.
Resource & Operational Reporting
- Help develop structured tracking of project assignments and resource utilization to give management better visibility of ongoing work.
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing project activities, staffing allocations, and workload distribution in collaboration with team leads.
- Maintain an inventory record of office and IT assets, including software and hardware usage.
- Provide data support for capacity planning and resource budgeting to help align staffing and project needs.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with IT, HR, and Commercial teams to improve process clarity and reporting consistency.
- Support management in implementing efficient systems that simplify internal reporting and reduce duplication of effort.
- Assist in building a transparent, data-informed culture that supports collaboration and shared understanding across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations reporting roles; experience in a tech or multinational environment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulatory processes.
- Good analytical and organizational skills with strong proficiency in Excel or other reporting tools.
- Comfortable working with data, systems, and multi-department collaboration.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (spoken and written)
