Finance & Accounting Staff (APAR, 6 months)

Job Summary: This is a temporary position for 6 months

Finance & Accounting Staff will be responsible for monitoring the creation of monthly, quarterly, annual reports. Besides, Finance & Accounting Senior Staff ensures financial information recorded accurately and manage accounting activities including accounts payable.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. General Accountant

• Payroll posting, SMUI and PIT reconciliation with HR vs SAP

• Trial Balance checking and prepare VAS ledgers on monthly

• Support closing Finance Statement monthly, yearly

• Other ad hoc reports and tasks as assigned.

2. Account Payable

• Coordinate with the relevant departments to verify the payment request and supporting documents

• Check and post all operating expenses to SAP

• Update and maintain vendor database in a timely manner

• Reconcile account payable balance of all vendors

• Handle Fixed asset depreciation and Prepaid expenses amortization

3. Acccount Receivable

• Verify and post all accounts receivable transactions from stores

• Update and maintain the customer/store database accurately and in a timely manner

• Reconcile accounts receivable balances with customers and internal departments on a regular basis

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education – Bachelor degree majoring in Finance, Accounting

• Experience – Min 1 year of experience at the same role at multi-national company, especially Retail-admin experience.

• Special skills – Good interpersonal skills, effective verbal & written communication skills and negotiation skills.

• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.

• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines, plan personal workload and delegate effectively.
