Finance & Accounting Manager (Vietnam - F&B / Retail)

Report to: Country Head / Regional Finance Director

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and commercially driven Finance & Accounting Manager to join a fast-growing F&B / retail business in Vietnam.

This is a key role in the organization, responsible for full finance ownership and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will play a critical role in supporting business operations, facilitating cross-departmental communication and coordination, providing financial insights, and maintaining strong financial controls and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead full set accounting, monthly closing, and financial reporting in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and IFRS-based group reporting requirements.

- Ensure accurate financial statements and management reporting

- Oversee POS reconciliation, daily sales control, and store-level reporting

- Manage inventory accounting and cost control (COGS / Food Cost analysis)

- Monitor store performance, KPIs, and profitability analysis

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning

- Manage tax compliance (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT) and audits

- Oversee cash flow, banking, and payment processes

- Ensure strong control over payment processes and financial approvals.

- Strengthen internal controls across retail/F&B operations

- Manage statutory filings and support tax audits and inspections.

- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure compliance readiness.

- Lead and develop local finance & accounting team

- Supporting cross-functional departments (Operations, HR, Procurement, and Store Operations) through communication, coordination, and financial insights

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or related field

- CPA qualification is an advantage.

- 5+ years of finance & accounting experience, 2+ leadership exposure

- Strong experience in F&B / retail store operations

- Solid knowledge of VAS and Vietnam tax regulations

- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite / SAP / Oracle )

- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability

- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and business-minded

Language

- Fluent Vietnamese.

- Good command of English (written and spoken)
