Job Description

Job Summary:

To lead and manage all finance, accounting, and tax functions for the newly established

manufacturing plant in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. This role supports both the plant setup phase

and ongoing operations, ensuring compliance with Group policies, Vietnamese

statutory requirements, and internal control standards, while acting as the key finance

liaison between headquarters, local teams, and external advisors.

Responsibilities:

1. Plant Setup & Finance Infrastructure

Establish finance and accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for the

new plant

Support ERP / finance system implementation (e.g. SAP), including chart of

accounts, cost centers, and process design

Manage capital expenditure (CapEx), budget planning, and cash flow during plant

setup

Coordinate bank account setup, statutory registrations, and engagement with

auditors, tax advisors, and banks

2. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Oversee daily accounting operations and month-end / year-end closing processes

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Vietnam Accounting

Standards (VAS) and Group reporting requirements

Support monthly management reporting, financial analysis, and variance

explanations

Coordinate external audits, internal audits, and Group consolidation requirements

3. Tax & Compliance

Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, CIT, WHT, and other statutory

taxes

Work closely with external tax advisors to manage tax risks and ensure regulatory

compliance

Support tax audits, government inspections, and related communications

4. Cost & Operations Finance

Establish and manage cost accounting, inventory, and WIP accounting for

manufacturing operations

Support standard cost setting, actual cost tracking, and variance analysis

Partner with production, procurement, and operations teams to improve cost

transparency and efficiency

5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Build, lead, and develop the local finance and accounting team

Act as the primary finance contact for Group finance, tax, internal control, and IT

teams

Provide financial insights and recommendations to local management and Group

leadership

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or

related disciplines

2. 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a

managerial role

3. Solid knowledge of manufacturing accounting, cost control, and internal controls

4. Experience with Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations, or new plant / new

entity setup experience

5. Hands-on experience working with auditors, tax advisors, and banks

6. Willingness to be stationed long-term in Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Language Requirements:

1. English: Business-level proficiency (mandatory)

2. Chinese: Working-level communication with headquarters preferred

3. Vietnamese: A plus, but not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in multinational or group finance environments

2. ERP experience, preferably SAP implementation or key user experience

3. Exposure to Group consolidation, internal control, or audit processes

4. Experience in greenfield plant setup, M&A integration, or operational finance projects
