Job Description

YOUR ROLE

The Field Sales Head is responsible for the development of Air & Ocean business which is controlled in the local market and is expected to support CEVA's developments within the global network.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

  • Provide leadership and direction to the in-country Field Sales team to identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts that meet and exceed new business revenue goals
  • Responsible for driving growth across Air & Ocean Business

  • Lead sales, track new markets and emerging trends

  • Establish, maintain and develop profitable business relationships with existing and potential customers in support of business plan objectives
  • Participate in the pricing management process by providing account and market intelligence to support the pricing and service offerings

  • Develop and implement business plan and strategy to extend the Air & Ocean Products

  • Responsible for defining and driving the product sales strategy within the assigned territory, to achieve the company goals & budget forecasts (in terms of revenues, costs, operational profits as well as market share
  • Support the local business by rolling out market initiatives with the BD team

  • Deliver timely and accurate updates, reports and escalation to management

  • Monitor market developments and competitive positioning and assess the viability and opportunity of adjusting and expanding the product or service range. Undertake continual assessment of the market and competitor landscape

  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the freight forwarding
  • Proven track record in BD/sales leadership
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Analytical and project management skills
  • Operations trouble-shooting capability
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
