As a Field Mechanical Design role at Technical team - Competition Project
You will design epic robot battle arenas that are not only cool and jaw-dropping but also precise and competition-ready. You'll be collaborating closely with our electronics wizards, game rule architects, and all kinds of robotics pros to craft the perfect battlefield for this year's Robotics Competition!
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and team up with the electronics crew to design and prototype the competition arena based on the season's requirements.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Game Rules Development Team to make sure all technical rule-related aspects are spot on.
- No test robots No problem! You'll get to build your own to run tests and bring the arena to life!
- Keep a well-documented technical logbook of all design insights, discoveries, and engineering hacks.
Required Qualifications
- You're currently studying (or have graduated in) one of the glorious majors like Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Pro-level CAD design skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with real-world calculations or design projects is a big plus.
- You're energetic, fun, a little quirky, but a team player with Duracell-level stamina.
- Great at communicating ideas, eager to learn, and allergic to drama.
- You show initiative, take ownership, and get things done reliably and responsibly.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, with the flexibility to adapt to surprise plot twists like a true rapid response squad.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have competed in at least 3 robotics competitions (extra points for variety!).
- Are currently based in Hanoi.
- Have experience working with educational/STEM organizations or non-profits.
