Overall Job Purpose:
As a Training Manager, you will lead our commercial and medical training initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs tailored for our field sales force, medical representatives, and internal stakeholders.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Training Strategy & Program Design
- Develop and execute an overarching training and development strategy aligned with Besins commercial objectives, product launch timelines, and corporate values.
- Design modular, engaging, and scalable training programs—incorporating e-learning, workshops, blended learning, and field coaching guides.
- Conduct regular training needs analyses in partnership with National Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and HRBP to identify performance and knowledge gaps.
Core Operational Delivery
- Lead comprehensive New Hire Training (NHT) programs, ensuring medical reps master disease states, product portfolios, clinical papers, and selling skills.
- Manage ongoing upskilling, refresher modules, and advanced sales training for product updates, market changes, or new indication launches.
- Collaborate closely with Medical, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure all training materials strictly adhere to local pharmaceutical codes, promotional guidelines, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Field Support
- Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers and Marketing teams to design toolkits, slide presentations, objection-handling scripts, and POA (Plan of Action) meeting workshops.
- Conduct regular field rides and coaching sessions with district managers and sales reps to evaluate training transfer and reinforce competencies in real-world scenarios.
- Manage partnerships with external training agencies, consultants, and Learning Management System (LMS) providers.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives using quantitative and qualitative metrics (e.g., knowledge retention, sales performance impact).
- Efficiently manage the annual training budget, resource allocation, and logistics to ensure cost-effective delivery.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Medicine or related fields.
- +5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or life-sciences Learning & Development.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering successful field-force training programs and product launches.
- Solid grounding in adult learning theories and instructional design models.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and modern digital e-learning authoring tools.
- Excellent public speaking, facilitation, coaching, and presentation capabilities.
- Exceptional project management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex medical and commercial concepts and rapidly adapt them into practical training solutions.
- A genuine commitment to coaching, mentoring, and driving continuous growth across teams.
- Fluent and clear verbal, written, and presentation skills in English for effective collaboration with cross-functional.
