Role Description The FDI Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hanoi, responsible for managing and growing relationships with foreign direct investment (FDI) clients. This role includes identifying and onboarding new FDI customers, assessing their financial needs, and proposing tailored banking solutions such as lending, cash management, trade finance, and foreign exchange services. The FDI Relationship Manager will prepare credit proposals, manage credit risk within approved limits, and coordinate internal processes to ensure timely and compliant service delivery. Daily tasks involve maintaining regular contact with clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and monitoring account activities to optimize customer satisfaction and portfolio performance. The role also requires close collaboration with product, risk, and operations teams, as well as contributing to market research, business development initiatives, and reporting on FDI portfolio performance.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and client service skills, including experience working with corporate or FDI customers.
- Solid knowledge of corporate banking products, such as loans, trade finance, cash management, and foreign exchange services.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk management for corporate clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with international stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and strong command of English; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- Understanding of FDI regulations, local market conditions, and international business practices.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
- Proficiency in office and banking-related software; familiarity with data and reporting tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in FDI banking, corporate banking, or international banking with a reputable financial institution is preferred.
