Fashion Designer Assistant

1. SOURCING :

• Material Sourcing and Quality Review: Support Designer toSource and select fabrics, pickings, trims that meet both design and cost requirements, ensuring alignment with the brand, lifestyle and sustainability vision. Participate actively to the seasonal sourcing strategy.

• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner and new suppliers across Asia ensuring all compliance aspects. Promotes clear communication and reliable adherence to timelines and workflow.

• Support Designer to create PPT for Category direction.

• Organize material, cut swatches and prepare sourcing layouts to send to Brazil.

• Organize sourcing material into Folders.

• Support Designer to create KPI for Sourcing.

2. DEVELOPMENT :

• Support Development with Technical Solutions and Active Problem solving.

• Join Development Meeting with Brazil Team or with Supplier if required.

• Create and Provide Technical Documentation on Centric System to ensure clear design and technical requirements to Suppliers. Check tech packs and design specifications to guide suppliers effectively.

3. PRODUCTION APPROVALS :

• Participate to Final Meeting and ensure all information are recorded properly on Centric System.

• Receive the approval submissions list from merchandiser and organize last samples and original proto sample for approval accordingly with the deadline in a FAST mindset.

• Must seal and stamp sample received, organize the racks, and must organize all approvals folders.

• Prepare the approval for the designer collecting last submissions of lab dips, strike off and trims to speed up the process accordingly with the deadline in a FAST mindset.

• Based on experience achieved, Approve lab dips, strike off, trims, PPS accordingly with the deadline in a FAST mindset. Always cross check with Designer/Merchandiser/Technician if have any doubt.

• Participate to Sample Review & Fittings and support to add fit visual approval record on Centric System.

•Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Suppliers, Merchandising Team and Technicians to troubleshoot any quality or design issues during production stage, ensuring final approvals meet brand requirements.

• Create and Provide Technical Record on Centric System to ensure clear design and technical requirements to Suppliers.

4. OPERATIONS :

Support designer in all operational daily routine as DHL, cutting and sending fabric swatches to suppliers or Brazil and development follow up.

Organize showroom, trims & fabrics for the development meetings with suppliers or with Brazil.

Organize development files accordingly with the orders issued and keep this file well organize to optimize the approvals.

Receive samples, trims and fabrics from suppliers/Brazil and send by courier to suppliers/Brazil.
