Position Summary
JOB PURPOSE
Team Leader will support the Maintenance Leader in managing daily maintenance activities, coordinating team assignments, and ensuring equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained safely and effectively.
This role is responsible for supporting repair and maintenance operations, proposing corrective actions for equipment failures, driving improvement initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and energy consumption, and supporting project transfer or handover activities.
MAIN DUTIES
- Support the Maintenance Leader in managing maintenance personnel and allocating departmental work.
- Guide and support maintenance employees in completing assigned responsibilities effectively.
- Support repair and maintenance activities for equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Support project teams in layout changes, equipment transfer, and handover activities.
- Ensure safety requirements are controlled and followed during all job execution activities
- Implement improvement actions to reduce maintenance costs and save energy.
Jobholder Requirements
- University degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Strong technical problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan work, select suitable maintenance methods, and provide directions to meet business needs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work responsibly and perform well under pressure.
- Able to read and understand technical documents in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of SAP, especially creating and approving purchase requisitions, is preferred.
