RHS Job Title Facilities Student Supervisor II Job Description
As a Facilities Student Lead, you will supervise a student team performing routine building maintenance including cleaning, event set-up, and repairs. You will also be responsible for ensuring activities like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash are completed with the highest commitment to quality. In this role you will work with a team to consistently keep the residence and dining halls at MSU looking and functioning their best.
Typical Duties May Include
- Supervise student team members during washing of walls and windows, emptying trash, changing compactor carts, and cleaning bathroom walls
- Clean upholstery and carpet, buff and scrub floors, and make minor repairs
- Set-up and tear-down furniture after events
- Assume responsibility for your teams scheduling and performance
Pay = $15.73/hr
Location = East Neighborhood
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student at MSU
- Available for night and weekend shifts
- Able to work 12 or more hours per week
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
- Experience working on a facilities cleaning crew
