Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Facility Project Leadership (70%) Project Planning & Initiation Lead project preparation, inventorying, budget planning, and manpower alignment.
Establish project organization with functional leaders to meet quality, cost, and timeline goals.
Engineering & Design Coordination
Oversee engineering activities based on layout and production needs.
Manage procurement and execution to ensure compliance with scope and requirements.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement and enforce quality procedures aligned with legal and internal standards.
Ensure design and execution meet quality and production criteria.
Safety & EHS Management
Conduct site safety checks and ensure compliance with EHS standards and laws.
Develop and apply safety guidelines for all phases of execution and operation.
Communication & Coordination
Prepare project progress reports and lead coordination meetings.
Align stakeholders on project status and resolve plan or manpower conflicts.
- Facilities Equipment, Cleanroom, Physical Building (5%) Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Manage contractors to ensure proper execution per SOW and safety standards.
Establish documentation (WI/SOP, tracking sheets, forms) to improve facility systems.
- EHS (15%) Perform regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols during operations and projects.
Ensure PPE compliance and overall safety adherence.
- Improvement (5%) Drive continuous improvement of facility systems and projects for better quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- 5S (5%) Ensure compliance with general safety procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Support 5S discipline throughout the facility.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal (HVAC preferred), or Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 9+ years of experience in facility engineering and project management, covering systems such as:
- Building & Physical Infrastructure
- HVAC & Cleanroom
- Low Voltage Electrical
- Exhaust & Ventilation Systems
- Air Compressor & Vacuum Systems
- BMS, DI Water, Wastewater Treatment
- 5+ years managing multidisciplinary engineering projects (greenfield & brownfield)
Abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational capability.
- Experience in planning, budgeting, bidding, procurement, and technical execution.
- Hands-on site management experience for building and facility systems.
