RHS Job Title Facilities Building Worker Job Description
As a Facilities Building Worker you will perform regularly scheduled cleaning duties in areas such as the following: bathrooms, halls, stairways, lobbies, dining rooms, student rooms, study lounges, offices, and inside and outside entrance ways.
Starting pay is $14.00/hr.
Typical Duties May Include, But Not Limited To
- Moping, Vacuuming, sweeping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms, and showers
- Washing windows, tracks, and blinds.
- Painting student rooms and bathrooms
- Furniture set up and tear down
- Conference set-up and tear down
- Parking and loading and unloading
- Turning in lost and found to Supervisor
- Empty garbage and recycling
- Cleaning entry areas of buildings
- Reporting issues to supervisors
- Cleans equipment and restocking supplies at end of work period.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
