ABOUT JOB:
Artelia is seeking an experienced Facade & Roof Manager to lead the design review, coordination, technical supervision, and quality assurance of building envelope systems, including facades, roofs, skylights, and associated waterproofing elements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design & Technical Management
- Review and validate facade and roofing design documents, shop drawings, calculations, specifications, and material submissions.
- Ensure design compliance with project requirements, local regulations, international standards, and performance criteria.
- Evaluate technical solutions related to glazing systems, cladding, curtain walls, roofing systems, waterproofing, insulation, and building envelope interfaces.
- Identify design risks and propose mitigation solutions.
Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordinate closely with Architectural, Structural, MEP, BIM, and Construction teams.
- Manage critical interfaces between facade, roof, structural works, and building services.
- Facilitate technical workshops and design coordination meetings with stakeholders.
- Support resolution of technical issues during design and construction phases.
Construction Supervision
- Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation.
- Witness inspections, mock-ups, performance tests, and material approvals.
- Ensure proper installation sequences and construction best practices are followed.
Quality & Performance Assurance
- Oversee facade and roofing quality inspections.
- Verify compliance with performance requirements including:
- Weather tightness
- Waterproofing
- Thermal performance
- Acoustic performance
- Structural integrity
- Fire safety requirements
- Monitor corrective actions and close-out of technical non-conformities.
Project Delivery
- Track progress, risks, and key deliverables.
- Support project planning and reporting activities.
- Contribute to successful project handover and final acceptance processes.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum +7 years of experience in facade, roofing, building envelope, or construction projects.
- Proven experience with curtain wall, cladding, glazing systems, roofing systems, and waterproofing works.
- Experience in large-scale projects such as airports, commercial developments, mixed-use complexes, industrial facilities, or transportation infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of international building envelope standards and construction practices.
- Familiarity with BIM-based project delivery and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Experience working with international consultants, EPC contractors, or specialist facade contractors.
- Knowledge of facade performance testing and commissioning processes.
- Experience in design review and site supervision roles.
- Professional certifications related to construction management, quality, or project management are advantageous.
