A. JOB PURPOSE
- The job holder collect, consult and document (BRD) requirements from business units to improve processes towards automation and to act as a bridge between business and technical teams
B. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Collect, classify, and research operational data:
- Gather and consolidate datasets from various internal and external sources related to operational activities.
- Ensure data is properly classified, stored, and managed according to standards to support analysis and decision-making objectives.
2. Analyze data and develop reporting systems:
- Design, develop, and maintain reporting systems and dashboards to support performance management and continuous improvement.
- Extract insights from data to assist strategic decision-making for the Head of Operations and other management levels.
- Act as the primary contact for consulting and providing reports for operational management activities.
3. Develop data utilization capabilities for end-users:
- Guide and support departments in using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Promote a culture of data self-service across the entire Operations Division.
4. Participate in and lead BI projects:
- Serve as a data analysis expert in projects requiring BI resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement BI solutions aligned with operational needs.
5. Ensure stability of reporting and data analysis systems:
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of reporting and data analysis systems.
- Promptly address any issues and propose system improvements
6. Coordinate across units to support operational activities:
- Work closely with departments across different divisions to help achieve targets and resolve arising issues.
7. Automate periodic reports:
- Design and implement automated reporting solutions to improve productivity and minimize manual tasks.
8. Perform other assigned tasks:
- Carry out additional duties as directed by management or as required by projects from time to time.
C. REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Mathematics Informatics, Economics, or related fields.
- Possess certifications or have completed courses in data analysis.
Experience:
- Over 7 years of experience in the relevant field or equivalent.
Language:
- As per Techcombank's regulations from time to time.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Advanced SQL skills with deep understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets, handle large-scale data, and extract strategic insights.
- Preferably experienced with Python/R for data analysis and automation.
Preferred:
- Understanding of operational and business processes in the banking industry.
- Possess certifications related to BI or Data Analytics (Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Google Data Analytics, etc.).
