Expert of Pricing

JOB PURPOSE

As the industry leading technical expert responsible for consulting, implementing the standardize pricing models across the product portfolio, updating assumptions according to market practices, and representing the department in working with external partners to ensure compliance, transparency, and financial performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1: Design & optimize product pricing model

- Design assumption models for new product lines: unit-linked, bonus products, integrated health insurance.

- Analyze product cash flow in detail, determine distribution costs, provisions, profitability and market attractiveness.

- Review all input assumptions and test the quality of model output to serve audit/Group review.

2: Strategic review & technical expertise consulting

- Participate in product content consulting from the idea stage: benefit structure, customer behavior and market feedback.

- Consult with the Finance department to determine the mechanism for calculating IRR, ROE and cost allocation according to the fixed cost structure.

- Contribute to the development of high-level technical documents: product specification, benefit mock-up, refund or loyalty mechanism.

3. Professional representative & business system development

- Represent the Pricing unit in system integration projects: CRM system with pricing model, AI application for input assumptions.

- Participate in business review with internal audit agencies or Group units when there is a pricing review.

- Transfer in-depth knowledge to subordinates, develop internal pricing technical and academic training documents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor's or Master's in Insurance, Finance, or Applied Statistics.

-Minimum 8 years of experience in pricing, product structuring, and profit analysis.

-Proficient in actuarial tools such as GGY Axis, Prophet, or similar software.

-Actively pursuing or completed 5 exams under ASA/FSA/FIA track is preferred.
