Job Purpose
You will play a pivotal, hands-on role in implementing and enforcing Data Governance strategies, policies, and standards to ensure effective, secure, and compliant data management across the organization's financial and payment ecosystems.
Key Accountabilities
Data Governance Strategy & Framework Development
- Design and maintain the enterprise data governance framework, including comprehensive policies, standards, roles, and decision rights.
- Establish and maintain standards for end-to-end data governance for the Finance & Payment domains, ensuring alignment with global and local financial regulations.
- Define operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with global policies, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities across the data lifecycle.
- Lead the development of global policies regarding data catalog, data quality, metadata, lineage, classification, retention, access, and usage.
Governance Enforcement, Compliance & Operations
- Spearhead the continuous monitoring and measurement of compliance against established standards, driving accountability to ensure total alignment with the enterprise framework.
- Architect and manage a proactive Data Policy Governance process to preemptively identify critical data issues and enforce strict adherence to corporate policies (e.g., PCI-DSS, Decree 13/ND-CP).
- Drive the strategic resolution of data breaches and security incidents, leading a proactive defense posture to mitigate vulnerabilities within the payment infrastructure.
- Implement and oversee robust governance mechanisms to monitor and control data access, vigilantly safeguarding the organization's information assets from unauthorized use.
Capability Building & Professional Training
- Cultivate team expertise in data management best practices, fostering a data-driven culture across Finance, Risk, and Tech teams.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Data Stewards and Governance Councils, facilitating decision-making on complex data issues.
- Train and coach the internal team to become competent Data Governance specialists, ensuring long-term organizational capability.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or Quantitative Analysis.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Governance standards, practices, and program management. Proven track record in Data Management (Quality, Metadata, Security, Privacy, and Interaction).
- Deep understanding of Information Security principles to ensure compliant data handling. Strong communication and problem-solving skills for complex technical analysis across diverse, cross-functional teams.
