Job Description

Job Purpose

The job holder:

  • Build and adjust the structure, organization, functions, tasks, coordination among units in the bank in accordance with the strategy and business model
  • Develop, adjust and supervise the implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines on governance in the bank.

Key Accountabilities
  • Build and govern Bankwide and Division's corporate structure
  • Build, update and manage Bankwide organizational structure
  • Organize, support, facilitate, consult and monitor the establishment/amendment of Division/unit's structure, ensure the translation from business model into structure and align with the Bank's strategy
  • Build structure v operating model for the newly established Division: support, guide, provide consultation for the establishment or amendment of Division's structure v operating model, ensure that they i) align with Bank's strategy v business model; ii) align with the Bank Corporate governance model; iii) capture new business opportunities; iv) optimize operating efficiency
  • Control content and consult on process to complete org. structure establishment/ amendment
  • Consult and facilitate Divisions to build RACI model between Divisions and bankwide
  • Build v govern Corporate governance model
  • Build, update, manage and monitor corporate governance model (Board v Management committee) and implementation plan as alignment with the Bank's strategy
  • Propose v support in establishment of Management committees (under CEO) and major amendment of Board committees (under BOD) at request of competent authorities, include: structure, composition, operating mechanism and outputs
  • Consult and research leading practices on corporate structure v governance
  • Research, build, update design methodology and complete organizational structuring, applied for Divisions in the Bank
  • Research, build, update methodology, process and design principles and restructuring of Corporate governance
  • Propose build/updates the regulations and process on Division/unit structure establishment/amendment

Key Relationships - Internal Stakeholders
The functional departments of the division are in charge of the Department's Strategy/Business Model/structure/organization, HRBP, the department in charge of internal document systems, the head office's legal consulting department.

Key Relationships - External Stakeholders
Top consulting firms (Mc Kinsey, Big 4, Mercer...)

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
Domain Expertise

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in banking and finance
  • Understand of business restructuring/restructuring activities
  • Understand of methodologies, practical models in business organizations (centralized/distributed, business partners, shared services, outsourced services)
  • Ability to build calculation methods/models, measure operational efficiency (metrics to measure productivity)
  • Experience working in corporate structure departments/projects at large organizations, or at large consulting firms corporate structure/restructuring (preferably experience working for banks) / financial company)
  • Experience in companies/projects related to improving business performance - preferably in the field of banking and finance
  • Foreign language (English): minimum TOEIC 650 (or equivalent certificates)

Qualification

  • Graduated with a master's degree or higher, majoring in economics, finance, business. Preference will be given to candidates with master's/MBA degrees from foreign universities.
