Role Description

This is a full-time remote role as an Experienced Vietnamese Medical Interpreter. The Medical Interpreter will facilitate clear and accurate communication between healthcare providers and Vietnamese-speaking patients, ensuring patient understanding and provider clarity. Responsibilities include simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during medical consultations, accurate translation of medical documents, and effective collaboration with healthcare professionals while maintaining cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Interpretation and knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Expertise in Translation and Interpreting with fluency in Vietnamese and English
• Skilled in Simultaneous Interpretation during complex medical scenarios
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to convey them accurately
• High level of professional ethics, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate healthcare needs
• Certification in medical interpreting or a related field is highly preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and patient interaction protocols is a plus
