JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage Account Payable
- Manage and monitor supplier accounts payable.
- Ensure accurate and complete recording of supplier payables in the accounting system.
- Perform periodic reconciliations with suppliers, identify causes, and propose solutions for any discrepancies.
- Compare and reconcile balances between detailed ledgers and general ledgers for accounts payable.
Execute Payment Processes
- Collect and review all invoices and supporting documents from suppliers and relevant departments, ensuring the legality and validity of invoices before payment.
- Reconcile purchased goods between supplier documents and warehouse/production records to ensure payments match actual inventory receipts.
- Prepare and submit payment documentation for approval in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate supplier information to ensure error-free payment processing.
- Record inventory receipts, raw materials, and various expenses in the accounting system; reconcile expenses with bank statements to ensure consistency between actual payments and accounting records.
- Properly file and store accounting documents in compliance with regulations to support audits and tax finalization.
- Monitor inventory in/out movements, calculate cost of goods sold (COGS).
Reporting & Accounting Support
- Prepare payment plans and obtain management approval to ensure timely payments.
- Be responsible for input VAT declaration.
- Support the General Accountant in preparing financial statements and internal reports.
- Prepare accounts payable reports.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management (if any).
- Participate in asset inventory and stock-taking activities.
- Compile and provide data for audits, inspections, reviews, and tax finalization.
- Support monthly accounting closing and year-end financial closing.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 12 years of experience in a similar position; experience in E-commerce is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (MISA AMIS preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, team members, and senior management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
