Job Overview:

The Senior Account Director Global Catalogue plays a critical support role in managing and executing the day-to-day operations of the Client Global Catalogue business. This position will be responsible for client relationship management, operational coordination, procurement support, and commercial tracking across key markets.

The role requires a strong ability to manage client requests, process orders, liaise with procurement, and oversee internal communication flows to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.

The Senior Account Director will work closely with a team of 5 to deliver on client KPIs & drive efficiency, optimize workflows, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as theday to day go-to contact for OpCos and internal stakeholders,ensuring clear communication and smooth execution of client needs.
  • Day-to-Day Client Requests & PO Management: Handle client requests, purchase orders and daily operational queries, ensuring accurate documentation, approvals, and processing.
  • Client Communication & Expectation Management: Regularly update clients on project status, potential risks, and timelines, providing proactive solutions to line manager to address issues before they arise.
  • Client Meetings & Presentations: Prepare and present weekly/monthly updates to clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear insights into project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, logistics, finance) to ensure client requirements are captured, addressed, and met efficiently.
  • Escalation Management: Identify and escalate major client concerns to line manager, providing structured insights and resolution proposals.
  • Team Management: Management of the cross functional team

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with Procurement Team: Ensure that procurement deliverables are aligned with OpCo needs and purchase orders are processed correctly
  • Order Tracking & Fulfilment: Monitor order status from initial request to final delivery, providing real-time updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Logistics & QAQC Oversight: Ensure that all shipping, logistics, and quality assurance checks are completed before client delivery.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify order or supplier issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them without disrupting client timelines.

3. Order Management:

  • Internal Communication Lead: Act as the key coordinator for internal teams, ensuring smooth information flow across departments.
  • Design Briefing & Client Requirements: Work closely with design teams to ensure client requests are correctly translated into design specifications, minimizing revisions and miscommunication.
  • Master Tracker Ownership: Maintain a real-time updated master tracker that includes:
  • Client requests
  • PO status
  • Project deadlines
  • Supplier deliverables
  • Financial tracking
  • Team Coordination & Support: Assist in managing cross-functional teams and project priorities.

4. Brand Compliance & Governance

  • Strict Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure that all client deliverables align with the clients brand standards, including correct logo placements, color usage, and material specifications.
  • Quality Control Checkpoints: Implement approval processes to prevent branding inconsistencies in product design, packaging, and promotional materials.

5. Commercial Support & Reporting

  • Support on Pricing & Commercial Strategy: Assist the sourcing team lead in preparing commercial forecasts.
  • Ownership of Commercial Master Tracker: Maintain a centralized financial tracker that includes:
  • Revenue tracking
  • Cost estimations
  • Purchase orders (POs)
  • Supplier payments
  • Client invoicing status

  • Data & Financial Acumen Ability to track commercial performance and maintain financial documentation

  • Problem-Solving & Proactive Thinking Strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and suggest process improvements.
  • Brand Compliance & Attention to Detail Ability to ensure all deliverables meet quality and branding standards before client submission.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in account management, procurement, or operations in sourcing, retail, or manufacturing industries.
    • Experience managing client accounts, purchase orders, supplier coordination, and commercial reporting.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement, order management, and branding compliance.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
