Job Description

OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for the overall management of the EVS team, as well as the end-to-end lifecycle of uniform distribution and maintenance.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily cleaning activities to ensure all areas of the club aremaintainedtohigh standardsof cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Direct, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the EVS staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train EVS staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies and proper maintenance of cleaning equipment.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the casino are regularly cleaned andmaintained.
  • Perform regular inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness standards are met andidentifyareas for improvement.
  • Ensure all cleaning activitiescomply withhealth and safety standards and regulations.
  • Manage administrative duties related to the EVS team, including scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the status of cleaning operations and propose improvements as needed.
  • Oversee EVS operations during assigned shifts, ensuring coverage for all operational hours.
  • Assigning uniform entitlements based on job role or department
  • Managing uniform sizing data and employee updates
  • Coordinating booking schedules for fittings and pickups
  • Tracking stock levels and inventory transfers
  • Handling exchanges, alterations, and returns
  • Ensuring compliance with uniform policies and branding standards
  • Othertasks asassigned by Management.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring entitlements and sizes areaccuratefor every employee
  • Organizational Skills: Managing appointments, stock, and renewals efficiently
  • Data Literacy: Navigating dashboards and generating reports
  • Problem-Solving: Handling sizing issues, returns, and urgent dispatches
  • Communication: Coordinating across HR, procurement, and fulfillment teams

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Diploma orbachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, ora relatedfield preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in gaming or hospitality, with some experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of gaming operations, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with gaming management systems (CMS) andproficiencyin Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
