About the Job
Our client is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand our venue partnership network across Vietnam.
This role sits at the intersection of hospitality, MICE, event production, and commercial partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying new venue opportunities, building strategic relationships with hotel decision-makers, and driving revenue growth through long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and secure new venue partnership opportunities across Vietnam.
- Build and maintain relationships with General Managers, Directors of Sales, Directors of MICE, Event Directors, and hotel ownership groups.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements aligned with company commercial objectives.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle from prospecting to signed agreement and first revenue-generating event.
- Conduct property visits and venue showcase presentations to demonstrate the event production capabilities.
- Represent the company at hospitality events, trade shows, networking functions, and industry gatherings.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, embedded AV providers, and venue partnership opportunities.
- Identify opportunities related to LED walls, AVL systems, AV integration, and hotel refurbishment projects.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and provide weekly commercial reports to regional leadership.
- Collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to achieve partnership and revenue targets.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in Hospitality, MICE, Event Production, AV Solutions, or related industries.
- Proven track record in new business development and partnership acquisition.
- Strong existing network within Vietnam's hotel, hospitality, and MICE sectors.
- Solid understanding of hotel event revenue models and venue commercial structures.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior decision-makers.
- Ability to discuss AV and event production solutions with confidence.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Experience using CRM platforms; HubSpot experience is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel across Vietnam and occasionally to Singapore.
