About the job
As an Event Coordinator, you will design and execute student leadership programs, career events, and workshops. You will connect with corporate partners, coordinate with faculty for program assessment, and manage event communications and logistics.

Program Coordination & Event Management
Plan, organize, and coordinate Leadership Program and Student Experience activities, including:
- Career orientation and soft skill seminars, Skills-based workshops/ classes, Mock interviews, Company tours and industry visits.
- Other activities as requested by the university/ faculty.
Coordinate logistics, timelines, and resources to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Monitor program quality and collect feedback for continuous improvement
Industry Relations & Employer Engagement
- Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with corporate partners, organizations, and industry professionals.
- Act as the main point of contact for employers participating in: Guest speaking sessions, Career talks, Networking events, Competitions, Mock interviews and mentoring activities and Company tours
- Coordinate with industry partners to ensure meaningful student learning experiences aligned with employability outcomes.
- Maintain an updated database of partners and collaboration history.
Academic Coordination & Assessment Support
Coordinate with faculty members, mentors, and assessors to:
- Arrange grading and evaluation of Leadership Program reports.
- Track assessment timelines and ensure timely feedback to students.
- Support Class supervisors in managing assessment-related administration.
Communications, Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Manage program communication, administrative documentation, and reporting related to the Leadership Program.
- Support communication content, merchandise preparation, and payment documentation for program activities
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills in a dynamic working environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive working attitude.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration tools.
- Ability to develop written content and support visual communication materials
- English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or above (or equivalent certification), sufficient for professional communication and correspondence.
- Proficiency in visual design software is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for visual design and/or video editing (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
