1. Role Summary
Design, maintain, and oversee the overall Enterprise Architecture (EA) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and flexibility across the organization's technology, data, and process systems. Support the planning of a technology roadmap aligned with the bank's business strategy, ensuring all technology initiatives are on the right track and scalable in the long term.
2. Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Design
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture map covering layers: business, application, data, technology, security, and integration.
- Define architecture standards, principles, and frameworks for the entire banking technology ecosystem (preferably based on TOGAF or Zachman).
Technology Strategy Planning and Alignment
- Collaborate with business and technical units to ensure business strategies are translated into appropriate architectural designs.
- Participate in medium- and long-term technology planning, build Business Capability Maps, and develop transformation roadmaps.
Architecture Assessment and Governance
- Review technology solutions proposed by units to ensure compliance with the overall architecture.
- Work with Solution Architects, Developers, and QC teams to monitor and adjust architecture during project implementation.
System Lifecycle Management
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing architecture, propose improvements, replacements, or upgrades.
- Maintain an Architecture Repository for managing technology assets.
Guidance and Consulting
- Provide architectural guidance for strategic projects such as core banking, digital platforms, CRM, LOS, etc.
- Support training for technical teams to understand and correctly apply enterprise architecture models.

4. Qualifications & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- TOGAF and ArchiMate certifications are mandatory or highly preferred.
- Knowledge of IT governance standards such as ITIL, COBIT is an advantage.
5. Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years in an Enterprise Architect or equivalent role.
- Experience in building enterprise architecture or restructuring systems in large organizations, preferably in banking or finance.
6. Skills & Competencies
- Strong systems thinking, holistic analysis, and organizational-level architecture design skills.
- Proficient in writing architecture documentation and using tools such as Sparx EA, ArchiMate, Lucidchart, BizzDesign, etc.
- Excellent communication with both technical and business teams, able to convey architectural concepts clearly.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making capability for technology investments.
7. Language
- Ability to use English for IT-related documentation, technical writing, and communication with partners.
