General Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified English Lecturer (Vietnamese) to teach an English Module (1 class) from October 6th, 2025 to November 21st, 2025. The lecturer will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction, preparing course materials, and assessing student performance.
Time and date:
- Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Morning Class: 9:30 AM 12:00 PM
- Duration: 7 weeks (October 6th, 2025 to November 21st, 2025)
- Location: Van Lang University Main Campus, 69/68 Dang Thuy Tram St., Binh Loi Trung Ward, HCMC.
Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver English language instruction to undergraduate students, focusing on enhancing their language skills in line with course objectives.
- Curriculum Development: Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments.
- Assessment and Grading: Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and participation, providing timely feedback.
- Student Support: Offer guidance and assistance to students, addressing their language learning needs.
- Other Duties: Participate in meetings, as required, and complete necessary administrative tasks (if required) related to teaching.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) or English Linguistics with a teaching certificate (TESOL/CELTA/TKT).
- Masters degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics is mandatory.
English Proficiency:
- IELTS score of 8.0 or higher, with no skill below 7.0 or equivalent.
Experience:
- Prior university teaching experience.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is an advantage.
