General Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified English Lecturer (Expats) to teach an English Module - Speaking Skill (2 classes) from January 19th, 2026 to March 27th, 2026. The lecturer will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction, preparing course materials, and assessing student performance.
Time and date:
- Days:Thursdays - 1 day/week (with one extra session in the final weeks - 8 sessions in total)
Morning Class: 9:30 AM 12:00 PM
Afternoon Class: 1:00 PM 3:30 PM
Duration: 7 weeks - excluding Tet (January 19th, 2026 to March 27th, 2026)
Location: Van Lang University Main Campus, 69/68 Dang Thuy Tram St., Ward 13, Binh Thanh Dist, HCMC.
Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver English classes (Speaking skill) to undergraduate students, focusing on enhancing their language skills in line with course objectives.
- Curriculum Development: Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments.
- Assessment and Grading: Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and participation, providing timely feedback.
- Student Support: Offer guidance and assistance to students, addressing their language learning needs.
- Other Duties: Participate in meetings, as required, and complete necessary administrative tasks (if required) related to teaching.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
- A recognised international qualification in teaching English as a foreign/second/further language (such as CELTA or equivalent.)
Work Authorization: Must possess a valid Vietnam Work Permit or proof of eligibility for a Work Permit Exemption (e.g., via marriage to a Vietnamese citizen).
Residency: Must hold a valid, unexpired Temporary Residence Card (TRC) or relevant visa.
Experience:
- Prior university teaching experience.
- Prior experience in teaching IELTS Speaking.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is an advantage.
