Lead and oversee mechanical engineering activities to resolve process issues and improve manufacturing processes, while supporting equipment development and qualification for ceramics and element production.
Provide technical expertise for capital projects, new materials/product development, pilot operations, and process improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot major production or customer issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure sustainable long-term solutions.
Monitor process performance and maintain process capability through effective control, maintenance planning, and timely problem-solving support to production teams.
Collaborate with internal design teams, global engineering groups, and external technology suppliers to enhance product design, manufacturing methods, and production efficiency.
Lead, coach, and develop the engineering and technical team, ensuring high performance, capability development, and effective resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with quality, EHS, and regulatory requirements while supporting audits, driving corrective actions, and contributing to cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics; a Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proficiency in 3D CAD design software (e.g., SolidWorks) for mechanical part design and development.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively and on time.
Solid knowledge of mechanical assembly processes, including Wire saw/ID saw operations, high-temperature furnace systems, and copper-to-ceramic bonding processes.
Basic understanding of PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and programs simultaneously.
