Summary
- Oversee daily operations, strategically plan and assign tasks to ensure optimal staffing levels at all times.
- Ensure technical support services promptly address and proactively anticipate individual client needs, guaranteeing guest safety, comfort, and courteous, efficient service delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors/third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within defined scope, and budget constraints.
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives by engaging all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Manage resource allocation and availability effectively.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and track milestones.
- Control changes to project scope, schedule, and costs through appropriate validation techniques.
- Evaluate project performance using established tools and methodologies.
- Provide regular reports to the Director of Engineering and escalate issues to senior management as necessary.
- Manage relationships with clients and all project stakeholders to foster collaboration and satisfaction.
- Conduct risk management activities to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Conduct client meetings to gather detailed project requirements and clarify specifications.
- Delegate tasks to the team based on their individual strengths, skills, and experience levels.
- Monitor project performance to assess achievement of both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Ensure budgetary goals are met and adjust project constraints based on financial analyses.
- Develop and share comprehensive project plans with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment.
- Continuously enhance leadership capabilities and project management skills.
- Participate in relevant conferences and training programs to maintain professional proficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Create spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to accurately document project needs and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
Minimum 2 years of management experience in interior design for hotels/resorts.
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and similar tools.
Proven hands-on experience in construction and renovation of interior and structural works.
Strong knowledge of interior materials, waterproofing techniques, defect management, and maintenance.
English proficiency is a strong advantage, especially when working with international contractors and partners.
