Responsible for all technical activities of the Terminal/Port.
Responsible for the effective daily operation of all machinery in the Terminal.
Builds up a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment in the Terminal to reduce damages and downtime on all machinery.
Deploy machinery, processes and workforce required to support operational plans, working closely with all support functions to ensure stability and high productivity levels.
Implement and guide new processes, procedures and technologies to improve performance and efficiency.
Work closely with the HSSE Manager to ensure safety policies, rules and regulations are strictly implemented.
Regularly inspect equipment and machinery to observe for potentially unsafe conditions.
Promote the provision of continuous improvement and a constant drive towards incident-free operations.
Work closely with Operations to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure good interaction across the entire engineering team to ensure smooth operations on a regular basis.
Provide working guidance and training for staffs of department and creating motivation to the workforce.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering of Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field
At least 05 years of working experience at the same position in Heavy Industry/Terminal/Port/Oil&Gas/Shipbuilding fields.
Strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills,
Have knowledge of terminal/port maintenance practices and principles.
