Engineering Assistant Manager

Willing to work in Factory in Phu My 3, Ba Ria Vung Tau

I. JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for all engineering utility activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes, maintenance plan & budgeting, improvement process, regulatory and compliance ISO Standart or others.

II. MAIN DUTIES

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of utility systems such as HVAC, water treatment, electrical systems, and other Utility equipment for all activity productions and minimizing downtime.

Ensure that utility systems meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technicians responsible for utility systems.

Provide guidance, support, and training to the team to enhance their skills and performance.

Coordinate and manage engineering projects related to utility systems, including upgrades, installations, and maintenance initiatives.

Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.

Address and resolve issues related to utility systems promptly and efficiently.

Implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the engineering utility function.

Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.

Create job planning and budgeting for maintenance at responsible department / area.

Create plan and program of Performance Management System, Risk Management System and Good Corporate Governance at responsible department / area to ensure company required employee and its competencies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for utility systems, including operating procedures, technical specifications, and maintenance records.

Assist in the development and management of budgets for engineering utility operational & projects/improvement.

Implement cost-control measures to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.

Stay current with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.

Ensure that utility systems and related projects comply with all applicable regulations and safety requirements.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related field

3-5 years of work experience in the Manufacturing industry and Utility systems management as an Assistant Engineering Manager, Engineer Associate, Utility engineer or a similar position

Complete knowledge of the Utility process, safety, and health protocols

Good time management and organizational skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD & bacic PLC

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Ability to offer good customer service

Willing to work in Factory in Phu My 3, Ba Ria Vung Tau

Able to speak English (Written, Reading).
