As an Engineer, Manufacturing Process, you will play a key role in ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality molding workshop operations. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to drive productivity, continuous improvement, and compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards while supporting business delivery goals.
Our Team
You will be part of the Manufacturing Process Engineering team within the C&CS division. The team works closely with Production Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Molding teams to ensure smooth production flow, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the workshop.
What You Will Do
- Lead and control daily molding workshop operations to ensure production plans, productivity, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Analyze production data, downtime, scrap, and material consumption to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
- Utilize SAP and production data to support timely reporting and continuous process optimization.
- Develop team capability by providing training and coaching on product specifications, machine and die standards, quality tools, Kaizen, and zero-defect principles.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally to resolve production issues and ensure smooth workflow across manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to process standardization activities including PFMEA, work instructions, procedures, and engineering change implementation.
- Drive compliance with 7S, Kaizen, EHS, social responsibility, and company asset protection requirements.
- Support and participate in Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S management systems.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, product functions, and basic mould and machine maintenance.
- Ability to analyze defects, perform problem solving, and use measurement instruments effectively.
- Basic English communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working in molding or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP systems and data-driven process improvement.
- Background in Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong people management, coaching, and workshop supervision experience.
