We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled DevOps cum Data Engineer to take ownership of both our infrastructure and data platforms. You will lead the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while also designing robust data architectures and pipelines to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of DevOps and Data Engineering, ideal for someone passionate about automation, scalability, and data excellence.
- DevOps Engineering
- Design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP (EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, etc.) or On-Premise Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate operational tasks.
- Lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Git.
- Build robust monitoring and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, or Rancher.
- Ensure system availability, security, scalability, and performance.
- Mentor and guide DevOps team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Data Engineering
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines (real-time and batch) from multiple data sources to the Lakehouse architecture.
- Design and develop analytics tools and dashboards to derive insights across customer acquisition, operations, and business performance.
- Work extensively with Google BigQuery and ensure data reliability and accessibility.
- Clean, transform, and manage large datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Ensure secure, performant, and cost-efficient data architecture.
- Implement data pipeline monitoring and alerting systems.

You will have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years in DevOps and/or Data Engineering roles.
- Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
- Strong experience working with CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring systems.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data lakehouse architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Ansible, Terraform.
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting.
- Strong command of SQL and experience with BigQuery, SQL Server, MongoDB, ClickHouse.
- Familiar with ETL/ELT practices, data warehouse design, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Git, Nexus, Jenkins, and cloud-native monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
- Able to thrive independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
