Job Description
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences. The following specialisations in Engineering or Sciences are preferred: Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Material Sciences; Materials Engineering and other relevant specialisations with the job.
- At least 2 years of related working experience in manufacturing environment with a highly technical, quality oriented, high volume, light-manufacturing environment. Working experience in Optical Manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Skills
- Experience in well-developed fault isolation, problem solving & analytical skills.
- Experience in methodisation and improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Experience in designing simple tools, jigs and fixture for manufacturing processes.
- Experience in using P-FMEA, SPC and other statistical methods.
- Experience in using AutoCAD.
- Ability to use English for Business Communication. Mandarin as the 3 rd language is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Works with thin film coater and other support equipment
- Exposure to a variety of compounds, solvents and chemicals.
- Works in standard office/manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle stress, proactive thinking, good initiative, and readiness for changes are essential demands at work.
Safety Requirements
