Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain EHS programs in compliance with corporate requirements, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and applicable legal regulations.
- Support EHS activities for the new Business Unit, including construction, commissioning, and operational phases as applicable.
- Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments; monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate and support statutory EHS training, safety awareness programs, and mandatory certifications for employees and contractors.
- Act as secretary to the EHS Committee, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up of action items.
- Liaise with relevant authorities on EHS-related matters, inspections, and reporting requirements under the guidance of the EHS Manager.
- Monitor and oversee the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and industrial waste in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Support process safety and engineering activities by participating in hazard identification, risk analysis, and implementation of control measures.
- Assist in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation to support compliance, audits, and management reviews.
Education & Experience
- Graduated university with professional Degree relevant EHS
- Minimum 5years experience in managing program and activities EHS
- Safety trainer certification based on legal
- Internal audit certification of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Skills
- Working knowledge of EHS legal requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Practical understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and their site-level implementation.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, EHS inspections, and incident investigations.
- Experience in supporting EHS operations in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
- Capability to coordinate statutory EHS training and safety awareness activities.
- Basic competence in hazardous waste and chemical safety management.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and authorities.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail..
- Experience supporting EHS activities during new factory or new BU setup
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainability, or corporate EHS reporting requirements
- Experience in working with external audits and corporate EHS assessments.
- EHS-related certifications or professional training
