About this role
This position is part of Data Protectify delivery model and is designed to develop expertise in technology risks, governance and control frameworks, rather than system engineering or statutory DPO functions.
I. Responsibilities
- Support the assessment of technology and data-related risks across client systems, processes and business operations
- Assist in identifying and documenting technology use cases, data flows and operational dependencies
- Contribute to risk assessments, impact analyses and control reviews related to technology-enabled processing activities focusing on emerging technologies
- Assist in tracking regulatory and policy developments related to technology, data and digital risks
- Prepare risk analysis materials, working papers and reports for senior consultants and client stakeholders
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
II. Qualifications & Skill
- Up to 4 years of experience (or strong academic foundation) in technology risk, IT audit, data governance, information security, compliance or related fields
- Relevant or ongoing certifications related to AI, IT risk, digital risk or technology governance
- Familiarity with risk or control frameworks (e.g. internal controls, audit methodologies, governance models)
- Basic understanding of Vietnam's data and technology regulations, including PDPL, Cybersecurity laws, AI Law and relevant digital technology regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business-relevant risk insights
- Interest in technology risk, data governance or regulatory risk as a long-term career path.
