Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Technical Management
- Manage assigned projects end-to-end, including technical meetings, customer communication, project evaluation, and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain project-related technical documents such as test plans, test summaries, test reports, and inspection reports.
- Ensure client orders are executed accurately, in compliance with agreed requirements, and within scheduled timelines.
Testing, Inspection & Technical Support
- Conduct testing of electrical products, performing precise measurements in strict accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Communicate test results and provide technical input to supervisors and project team members.
- Perform inspection, sample drawing, and loading supervision services at customer sites when required.
Quality Management & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain technical and quality-related documents, including quality management (QM) documentation and checklists.
- Ensure laboratory activities are properly documented in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support the Quality Management team in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems.
Equipment & Laboratory Operations
- Arrange and support calibration of test equipment as required.
- Ensure the availability, readiness, and proper functioning of testing equipment and tools.
- Support warehouse operations and laboratory maintenance/housekeeping activities.
Special Assignments
In addition to the responsibilities listed above and those defined in the global role description, the incumbent may be assigned additional tasks by the direct supervisor. These assignments are typically related to the above activities or arise from company policies and operational needs.
Authority
The role holder is authorized to take reasonable actions necessary to fulfill assigned responsibilities, provided such actions align with company policies, cost-effective practices, and established role guidelines.
Education
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using scientific and electrical measurement equipment.
- Strong knowledge of applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work accurately under minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English (Japanese proficiency is an advantage).
- Proficient in PC applications, including MS Office.
- Solid understanding of EMC, Safety, and/or Electrical Engineering standards (IEC, CISPR, FCC).
- iNARTE EMC Certified Engineer certification is a strong plus.
