VinFast is looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Embedded Software Project Management Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the EE Software, Function Release (FRS) process, ensuring seamless integration and successful deployment of new functions and features in our products. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all functional releases meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Feature Release Step (FRS) process for new vehicle functions and software features
- Maintain and verify the issue list for each FRS release, ensuring accurate classification and prioritization.
- Collaborate with engineering, validation, design, and quality teams to plan and execute function release milestones.
- Coordinate L0 and L1 analyses and document root causes with corrective actions.
- Monitor defect resolution, validate test results, and confirm readiness for FRS release ahead of deadlines.
- Track FRS progress, issues, and changes; maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Analyze and resolve problems arising during the release process.
- Drive continuous improvement of FRS tools, processes, and workflows to enhance overall release efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 35 years of experience in function/software release or system integration, preferably in the automotive or high-tech industry .
- Strong understanding of EE Software Architecture, Function Release methodology, and configuration/change management principles.
- Solid project management and coordination skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment .
- Proficiency in English; familiarity with automotive standards and tools (e.g., CANoe, DOORS, PTC Integrity, JIRA) is an advantage.
