WATA Software is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with solid experience in C/C++, real-time embedded systems, and automotive software development. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing software for automotive ECUs in compliance with AUTOSAR, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cyber Security (ISO/SAE 21434) standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
- Strong understanding of RTOS, AUTOSAR, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
What will you do
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive control units using C/C++ on real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Implement and integrate AUTOSAR components, ensuring compatibility and performance within ECU platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cyber Security (ISO/SAE 21434) requirements across the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, system, and validation) to define software architecture, interfaces, and testing strategies.
- Debug, optimize, and validate embedded software using standard automotive tools (CANoe, Lauterbach, JTAG, etc.).
- Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to MISRA C/C++ and best coding practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and automation for embedded systems.
