Electrical Expert (Gas-Fired CCGT)

Project Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electrical Expert for a major Gas-Fired Power Plant project in Vietnam. The selected expert will play a critical role across two main phases: initial technical design verification and subsequent onsite construction and commissioning supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1/ Technical Design & Detailed Design Review: In addition to the verification of the technical design and detailed design, the expert needs to verify the construction measures, ITP, equipment documents submitted by the contractor, the contractor's reports, and the technical documents of the project.

2/ Supervision:

+ Inspect the quality management process, design management process and the system of monitoring and acceptance of the power system in areas and equipment such as Turbines - Generators - Main transformers - Self-use transformers - 500kV power connections

+ Monitoring and acceptance of electrical systems for BOP equipment areas

3. To supervise the activities put into operation and commissioning.

+ Verifying the testing and operation processes and inspecting the implementation before putting them into operation. This work is carried out starting from the time of receiving electricity, including:

- Review the testing process and supervise the operation of key equipment systems in turbine areas.

- Review the testing procedure and monitor all equipment and some of the BOP's main equipment.

- System interconnection testing.

- Supervise and inspect the entire process of testing systems and equipment in the main machine room.

Inspection of experimental conditions, testing of the responsiveness of measuring equipment, inspection of sampling, analysis and evaluation of experimental results. Evaluate the results of the experiment as required by the contract.

- Testing of BOP equipment systems

Job Requirements (Strict Criteria)

- Education: Bachelor's Degree or college in Electrical Engineering (or related fields), educated and graduated from institutions in G7 countries, Nordic countries, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in similar design verification/supervision roles for Thermal Power Plants (Coal-fired or Gas-fired). Must have successfully completed at least 02 reference projects of a similar nature.

- Documentation: Candidates must be able to provide verifiable supporting documents (contracts, reference letters, degrees, certificates) confirming the above experience and education criteria.
