Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics, control panels, and automation systems using EPLAN or equivalent electrical CAD tools.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, block diagrams, and fieldbus network diagrams.
- Perform electrical calculations and component sizing (circuit breakers, contactors, VFDs, relays, fuses).
- Define PLC hardware configurations and I/O architecture.
- Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industrial and functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation projects.
- Hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8 (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of PLC hardware and control systems.
- Good understanding of electrical design principles and industrial standards.
- Good English communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Siemens, ABB, Schneider, or Rockwell automation systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, process industry, or machine automation projects.
- Ability to work with global engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with standard mechanical components from suppliers such as MISUMI, THK, SMC, HIWIN, Festo, or similar.
- Experience in mechanism simulation or motion analysis using CAD software.
- Knowledge of DFM, DFA, and FMEA is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese or Chinese is an advantage.
- Experience in factory automation or industrial equipment development is preferred.
