Electrical Design Engineer

ABOUT JOB:

Responsible for leading the electrical system design of data center power, ICT, security, control infrastructures such as medium and low voltage system, extra low voltage system, BMS, generators, and UPS systems.

Close Collaboration with global cross-functional disciplines (Mechanical, P/S, FF, Architectural and Structural), BIM modelers.

• Report line: DC Design Manager and/or Data Center Design Director
• Location: 6 Phung Khac Khoan Street, Ho Chi Minh city.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design MV/LV electrical systems for industrial and data centre projects
• Perform power system studies, including:

- Load flow

- Short-circuit analysis

- Protection coordination / selectivity (discrimination studies)

• Define and configure circuit breakers, relays and protection devices
• Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, civil)
• Support technical reviews, client discussions and project delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems)
• Typically 7–10+ years experience in electrical design (industrial/data centres)
• Proven experience in protection coordination / discrimination studies
• Proficiency in tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT, SKM or equivalent
• Strong understanding of MV/LV distribution systems and protection schemes
• Ability to work independently and interface with clients
