Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing Occupational Health and Environmental Compliance programs at the manufacturing site. Ensure effective operation of the onsite medical clinic, compliance with Vietnamese regulations, customer requirements and corporate standards. Manage outsourced medical service providers and support environmental compliance, reporting and EHS audits.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Occupational Health

  • Manage onsite medical clinic operations.
  • Manage outsourced medical service providers.
  • Manage medicines, medical equipment, medical supplies and employee medical records.
  • Coordinate pre-employment, periodic and occupational health examinations.
  • Coordinate first aid, emergency response and hospital referrals.
  • Organize first aid training and health promotion activities.
  • Prepare Occupational Health reports.

Environmental Management

  • Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Monitor waste segregation, storage and disposal.
  • Manage chemicals, SDS, labeling and storage compliance.
  • Ensure Environmental Permit compliance.
  • Prepare regulatory environmental reports.
  • Coordinate wastewater, air emission and environmental monitoring programs.
  • Support ISO 14001, ESG and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support environmental inspections and audits.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
  • Support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, Corporate and Customer audits.

Track CAPA closure.

  • Support development and maintenance of EHS procedures and documentation.

Report

  • Occupational Health reports.

Environmental reports.

EHS KPI reports.

Incident reports.

  • Corporate and statutory reports.

Job Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Preferred majors include Nursing, Public Health, Occupational Health, Medicine, Hospital Administration, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety or other Health Science-related fields.
  • Candidates from other disciplines are welcome if they have relevant Occupational Health or Environmental Management experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in managing an onsite medical clinic or outsourced occupational health service providers.
  • Experience in environmental management or environmental legal compliance.
  • Experience supporting ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, Corporate or Customer audits.
  • Experience working with government authorities is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Supplier management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports and analyze data.
  • Experience in supporting and responding to internal, external and customer audits.
  • Good command of English or Chinese for daily communication and coordination.
